My Mission

Growing up on the outskirts of Bindura, a small mining town in Zimbabwe, was marked by witnessing the adverse effects of mining-related illnesses caused by inadequate safety equipment. This experience ignited a passion in me to address this issue. I made this problem my life goal to solve. The mission is to create a digital platform to enable informal sector workers to purchase affordable and reliable safety equipment through an AI-powered bulk buying system.

This ambition led me towards software engineering, a field that holds the key to solving many of the challenges faced by my community and beyond. My proposed startup aims to mitigate mining-related health issues and create job opportunities in an area with a rapidly growing population like my community.

To bring this vision to life, I recognised the importance of a solid foundation in software engineering. My journey to becomoning an aspiring software engineer is a testament to my resilience and determination to contribute positively to society. I am motivated by the challenges I have overcome and the impact I aim to make through technological solutions. I am excited to continue learning and growing in this field and beyond.
